Summary: | View of the White Barn or "Bottle Tower", Rathfarnham, County Dublin, Ireland. This barn was erected by a Major Hall in 1742, who modelled its design on the Wonderful Barn built by the Conolly family in Celbridge, County Kildare, Ireland. In the background there is a smaller version of the barn but it serves as an aviary. Birds can be seen flying around it in the drawing. In the foreground a man tends a horse, while another man stands nearby holding a piece of paper in his hands. Another man sits on a horse near them. |
