Summary:	Drawing of the Market Cross that once stood in Kilkenny, Ireland. It was erected in 1335 and by 1650, Cromwellian soldiers were using the crucifix on top for target practice. In 1771 it was demolished by Mayor Blunt because it was giving shelter to "idle and dissolute characters".
