Published by Ledwich, who edited Francis Grose's "Antiquities of Ireland" (vol. I, 1974). He omitted to mention the engraving in the accompanying letterpress, so we have no indication who the artist is.

Inscribed in ink l.c.: Wall of the Abbey of the Rock of Cashell East, By West.
Inscribed in ink on verso: No. 89. D.
Writing and the way the shadow is created to the right of the vertical lines, suggests taht this plan is by the same hand that drew the plan of Holy Cross Abbey in this collection 2122 TX (97).
