| Summary: | View and plan of the twelfth-century Romanesque doorway in the church of Dysert O'Dea, County Clare, Ireland. The decoration on the sides of the doorway in particular does not bring out the differing designs used on the stones which, almost certainly, come from more than one doorway. |

| Credits: | Attributed to Joseph Turner, (ca. 1772-1835). It is based on a lost original by the American Artist, Henry Pelham (1749-1806), who came to Ireland as agent to Lord Lansdowne's estates in 1778/1779. The drawing says that Pelham measured the door in 1781, a year after he exhibited at the Irish Society of Artists. |
