Summary:	View of the gable of the south chapel of the Dominican Priory of Aghaboe, County Laois, Ireland, with traceried window (probably now at Heywood House, County Laois), and with view of the south side of the eastern end of the church. Bushes in the foreground, and tree on the extreme left. Inscribed on verso of mount [since removed during conservation]: Aghaboe 3rd View Lady de Vesci.

Notes:	The Revd. Edward Ledwich, a founder member of the Hibernian Antiquarian Society whose President was William Conyngham Burton. Ledwich was rector of Aghaboe, and may have been responsible for getting Lady de Vesci, an accomplished amateur artist, to do this drawing of Aghaboe, which later came into the possession of William Burton.
