Inscribed in ink l.c. on sheet: The Town of Thurles with the Castle wherein the Duke of Ormond was born, the new Market House and part of the Knights Templars' Castle belonging to Mr. Mathew's of the County Tipperary, the Titular archbishop of Cashell [sic] holds his Seat in this town.
