Summary:An inscription on a stone which formed part of the O Ceallaigh funeral monu ment on the north wall of the choir of the Cistercian abbey at Knockmoy, County Galway, Ireland. The Black-letter/Latin inscription, with the aid of the Crawford article (page & reference numbers stated on facing page for 2122 TX (1) 77), can be read as follows: "Do muleachlaind okeallaid do ri omani agas dindhualaind inge ichonchuir dorine matha ocogli in leabaif sea" which when translated is "For Maelsechlainn O'Ceallaigh, for the king of Ui Maine and for Finnghuala daughter of O'Conchobair, Matthew O'Coigle made this resting place"
