Notes:	Label on back of mount: Initial Serial No. 201 Subtitle inscribed in pencil on back of image: The Young King. Page 89 Title inscribed in pen on accompanying sheet by the artist with the following inscription: Illustration to "The Young King". The background cathedral was based on Notre Dame in Paris. I note that the watercolour paper I used wasn't working very well. It was a problem I had quite often then and led to me rejecting several pictures after I'd done quite a bit of work on them.
