| Summary: | C.W. Cole spent time in Ballinrobe, County Mayo. He was working as a special artist for The Graphic, reporting on the events relating to the Irish Land League in the west of Ireland in 1880. The Hussars were part of the Boycott Relief Expedition, called in to escort the 50 "Orange Labourers", employed to save Captain Boycott's crops, to and from their camp at Lough Mask.
