Image published in slightly altered form as a wood engraving entitle '1. "Peace :" A sketch at Ballinrobe after the departure of the troops' as part of a series of illustrations, under the title "The Land Agitation in Ireland - Sketches from Ballinrobe and Lough Mask", on page 584 (accompanied by an article "The Condition of Ireland" on page 579) in the Graphic, December 11th, 1880. According to the aforementioned article this engraving is the contrast to the engraving entitled '"War :" Market Day at Ballinrobe during the Military Occupation" on page 585 of the Graphic, December 11th, 1880 (from the sketch 2196 (TX) 63)
