Summary:C.W. Cole accompanied HRH the Duke of Edinburgh on his "Relief of Irish Distress" tour of the West and South coast of Ireland in 1880.This sketch shows the Duke of Edinburgh being received on the American Relief Ship "Constellation" by Captain Potter USA, Dr. Hepworth and Major Gaskell. In the background are Sackling, Colonel King-Harman and Lieutenant Le Strange. The Stars and Stripes flies from the fore of the "Constellation". The names of the welcoming party are written in ink at the foot of the drawing
