Summary:Three gentlemen sit in armchairs, two of them have their feet in basins of hot water. A maid enters with a tray saying "Sure you wouldn't be for starting o' this damp night." First gentleman to her left says "I don't know much about horses, but surely they would not go in the wet." The gentleman to his left says "It is so wet and I really don't look my best in a waterproof". The third gentleman, with his armchair turned towards the others, says "You see it would spoil my new evening suit and I have almost outgrown my Etons." Credits:Attributed to Robert Gregory as the cartoon is from his scrap book but neither the artist nor the characters, if not fictitious, are identified. Robert Gregory was an artist but never signed any of his work
