Large semi-oval image of the assembling of the Volunteers at Dungannon Church, Co. Tyrone with two smaller images of Henry Grattan and Lord Charlemont at the top. Inscribed in ink in u.c. "Uncoloured Speciman of the Cartoon to be issued with the Weekly Freeman of February 18th 1882".

Printed text: The building here represented is that in which the Convention was held. It has since been destroyed, but our Artist, specially despatched to the locality, has taken this sketch from an old picture in the possession of a respected inhabitant.
