Summary:	The trial of Robert Emmet showing the courtroom, judges, lawyers and gallery. Emmet addresses the crowd "If the French land in Ireland, Oh, my countrymen! Meet them on the shore with a torch in one hand - a sword in the other, recieve them with all the destruction of war - immolate them in their boats before our native soil should be polluted by a foreign foe". This scene was published by the government with a falsified account of Emmet's speech from the dock.
