A view of the Four Courts
Four prominent Irish legal figures. William Downes, 1st Baron Downes and Chief Justice of the King's Bench in Ireland accompanied by Thomas Manners-Sutton, 1st Baron Manners and Lord Chancellor of Ireland with John Toler, 1st Earl of Norbury and Chief Justice of the Court of Pleas in Ireland and Standish O'Grady, 1st Viscount Guillamore and Chief Baron of the Exchequer in Ireland. Behind them is a print of John Philpot Curran on horseback carrying papers titled "Master of the Scrolls" and also a view of the Four Courts. Legal papers and books are scatted nearby.
