Summary:A copy of No. 10 (New Series) October 1937 of 'A Broadside'. With poems ['The Pilgrim' by W. B. Yeats and 'Sleep Song' by F. R. Higgins] and hand-coloured illustrations on the front and third pages by Jack B. Yeats. On recto is an hand-coloured illustration [above W. B. Yeats' poem] of an old man [the pilgrim to Lough Derg in Yeats' poem] in a boat, his hands in prayer while another man [with his back to the viewer] rows the boat; a large black bird flies overhead. On page three is accompanying 'Sleep Song' by F. R. Higgins, with a music score underneath for the song arranged by Art O'Murnaghan is an illustration by Jack B. Yeats of a woman lying on the ground, in a state of distress; she is wearing a green coloured shawl and a red skirt. At bottom of recto: '300 copies only'.
