Summary:At bottom of sheet is a reference to the brief Peace of Amiens [signed in Amiens on 25 March 1802 by Joseph Bonaparte and Marquess Cornwallis as a "Definitive Treaty of Peace" but which lasted just over a year to 18 May 1803 - it was the only period of general peace in Europe from 1793 and 1814; under the treaty, the French Republic was recognised] and the following remarks are present: "A great discovery ... has lately been made for the benefit and good of mankind in general ... the vaccine innoculation or cow pock ... and an infallible preventative of the small pox."
