"The fifteen letters [to the Wildes] ... were kindly handed to me for perusal by Mr Bernard Massey bookseller 84 Patrick St. Cork on the evening of Saturday Nov. 11th, 1885 the collection having only first come into his possession. C.G. Doran". "The originals of the following five letters [re Fenians] were kindly lent to me by Mr. Bernard Massey bookseller, Patrick Street, Cork, 26th March, 1906".
