articles on Canon Sheehen assembled by J. Anthony Gaughan
compiled by John Anthony Gaughan
Canon Sheehan (1852-1913) wrote Glenanaar (1905) when he was parish priest of Doneraile, and his novel took as its subject the famous Doneraile Conspiracy (1829) in which Daniel O'Connell displayed great legal ability.
These cuttings, articles etc, were assembled by Gaughan as he prepared his own book on Doneraile
