Notes: | Ethel Mary Veasey (1863-1905) was the elder sister of Harley Cyril Veasey (1865-1926). Cyril Veasey was a close friend of Yeats at Godolphin School in Hammersmith. Ethel was a friend of Lolly Yeats. Both Yeats and the Veasey family shared a love for natural history which is reflected in the letters. The letters give an insight as well into Yeats's changing circumstances in literary Dublin. Physical description: 1 folder (13 items). more |
