Notes:T.M. Donovan was born in Castleisland, Co. Kerry, in c. 1863. He was married twice and spent approximately forty years working as a school teacher in Queensland, Australia. He returned to Castleisland due to the ill-health of his second wife. He authored of four books addressing the diverse topics of local history, theology, astronomy and politics. He died on 13 June 1950.
