Marion Malley was a determined and driven woman, characteristics inherited by her son, Ernie O'Malley. Marion and her daughter-in-law, Helen Hooker O'Malley, developed a strong friendship that lasted beyond Helen and Ernie's marriage. This photograph was taken a year after Helen and Ernie divorced, when Marion visited Helen in London. Helen was working there during the 1953-54 theatre season.
