Notes: | Collection consists of material relating to Brian O'Nolan (Flann O'Brien/Myles na gCopaleen) and his family, in particular his mother's family, the Gormleys of Strabane. Brian O'Nolan and his siblings spent a significant part of their childhood in Strabane and the collection documents this. Includes: family photographs of O'Nolan and his family; photographs, postcards and a scrapbook of Strabane and surrounding areas; material relating to his uncle Eugene Gormley (who was interned on SS Argenta in Belfast Lough in 1922) including a card from Alice Milligan; articles concerning O'Nolan ; and other miscellaneous material related to O'Nolan's family background.
