Description:Lettered with title, cropped within plate mark and lacking publication line (however stylistically similar to those published by William McCleary). George IV is depicted standing on the pier at Howth, the vessel he arrived on can just be seen in the right background. Men crowd around him doffing their hats, shaking his hand; a child in the right foreground is cheering, while women can be seen in the left background, where a carriage awaits the King.
