Lettered with title " Ejection from Castle Town - near Carrick on Suir-!". Lacking publication line. Paper watermarked "Kileen 1921". This print depicts a liveried servant kicking a soldier from the cavalry regiment the Tenth Royal Hussars down the front steps of Castletown [Castletown Cox]. The soldier's wears a blue jacket with a narrow belt at the waist, with a profusion of yellow braiding at the front of the jacket, a high collar, a shako [hat] with a large plume projecting from it and wide trousers of bright red with a yellow stripe down the side. At the top of the steps, standing a Georgian door that is ajar, another man (the owner of the house) observes the scene, saying in a speech bubble "put him out!". The liveried servant says "yes Sir; he's as drunk as a piper". The hussar retorts "The Tenth don't Drink!". [The house referred to in this print is Castletown (now better known as Castletown Cox), a Palladian mansion located near Carrick-on-Suir, Co Kilkenny].
