Print depicts a surly looking man, seated at a table where playing cards are strewn in an untidy heap, a pair of dice, a horn dice cup, a short length of rope and a revolver lie on the surface of the table. In the background a framed image on the wall features a stagecoach robbery (a man wearing a blue riding jacket is on horseback, pointing a pistol at the occupants in a carriage); in the background of the scene, a gallows can be seen with the body of a man hanging from it.
