This print is lettered with title 'The Cobblers Cure for A Scolding Wife' and publication line 'Sold by I. Sidebotham 24 Lower Sackville Street'. A cobbler savagely leans over his elderly wife who is tied to a chair with her wrists bound; she glares up at him as he pulls at the thread with which he is stitching up her mouth. |
