Handwritten letter from Matthew Bridges to the Earl of Tyrconnel,

Bridges recounts his delayed journey to London and says he delivered the letters with which Tyrconnel entrusted him. He found the King and Queen and Lady Tyrconnel well; he was graciously received by the King, who was pleased with the general happiness over the birth of the prince. Bridges ends his letter by expressing the hope that he will continue to have the Earl's favour.
