Notes:This volume contains maps of lands in Co. Kerry held by William, Lord Ennismore, ' The Part Purchased from the Earl of Kerry being minutely and accurately copied from an Old Book of Maps entitled ''A Survey of the Estate of the Right Honble. Thomas Lord Baron of Kerry Anno 1697 by Henry Pratt''. The copy maps in this volume were produced in Dublin, in May and June 1817, by Robert Stack, registered land surveyor of Tralee, Co. Kerry.

Bookseller's note: The original maps of 1697 were destroyed in the Four Courts in 1922. Further information on the original survey can be found in J. H. Andrews' article 'Henry Pratt, Surveyor of Kerry Estates', Journal of the Kerry Archaeological and Historical Society (Vol. 13, 1980).
