Written in black ink at top left of sheet "Section of Custom House Dome / From portfolio of Gandon's drawings / bought by the late Andrew Robinson [?] while in service of O.P.W. H [...] Note made in 1945, a good many years later". Fig. 60 of 'James Gandon, Vitruvius Hibernicus' by Edward McParland, published in London by Zwemmer, 1985. According to McParland, p. 49 "The earliest drawings by Gandon for the Custom House are dated 1780..."; these are present in the collection of the National Gallery of Ireland.
