Two proposed sections of the [Church of Ireland] Church of St. John the Evangelist, Coolbanagher, Co. Laois on one sheet. Written in pencil at top right of sheet "Gandon", with details concerning dimensions in very faint writing in pencil in manuscript hand at lower right of sheet. This church was commissioned by the Church Vestry and John Dawson, Viscount Carlow [created 1st Earl of Portarlington in 1785] and was consecrated in March 1785.
