Includes an envelope containing a loose copy of the script ‘Old Gold’ dated 14/12/1971, a spiral bound copy of the article and a loose copy sent to John L 'Jack' Sweeney in 1971 in Corrofin, Co. Clare. Attached is some correspondence relating to Montgomery’s attempts to publish the article. Correspondents include Jeremy Lewis of A.P. Watt & Son, 'Atlantic Monthly', 'The New Yorker' and Derek Mahon, features editor of 'Vogue' . An Irish Film Society programme for Marx Brothers Season at the PLayer/Willis Theatre in April 1972.
