Includes letters to Wolfe from Thomas Rawson of Athy, concerning the reorganisation of the United Irishmen in Athy (26 May 1803), Thomas J. Dawson, concerning his fears of United Irish activity in Kildare (31 Jul 1803), Samuel Montgomery of Oldtown, concerning rumours of arson and his engaging a spy to join the United Irishmen (8 Sept 1803), Richard Griffith, concerning John McMahon's activities during the Rebellion (4 Feb. 1804) and J. Pollock, concerning the compiling of evidence against 'Kildare men' and his concerns for Wolfe's safety (22 June 1804).

Also included is correspondence between Wolfe and Alexander Marsden of Dublin Castle, concerning the imprisonment of suspects and possibility that Wolfe needed protection (Mar 1803; Jan. to Jul. 1804), a copy of Wolfe's letter to a Mr. Wickham, concerning those held in Naas prison on treasonable offences (25 Jan. 1804) and a draft letter, recipient unclear, from Wolfe in which he writes of the arrest of a man named Keating at Naas (Jul. 1804).
