Description:Contains letters to Sean MacEntee as Minister for Health and Micheàl Mac Liammoir regarding Niall Montgomery’s recommendation of Mac Liammoir to the board of the Abbey Theatre. Also contains letters with Louis Elliman of the Gaiety, Earl of Longford of the Gate, and Ernest Blythe of the Abbey regarding the need for funding to improve some of the lesser Dublin playhouses. A typescript entitled "Rebirth of the Irish Theatre" and a newspaper clipping are also included.
