Letter from Roger Casement to "Gee" [Gertrude Bannister] regarding instructions for his papers after his death and informing her that his execution date has been set,

Casement writes about various faithful friends and asks her to get word to Joseph McGarrity about "John McGoey" who had been sent to Ireland to try to call off the Rising. He also describes his intention to convert to Catholicism and hopes that she will meet his friends and tell the real story of his life after his death. Letter is written on the reverse of a letter to Casement from Cathal O'Byrne dated 22nd June 1916, enclosing a statuette of Our Lady and ensuring Casement of the love, support and prayers of his friends in Ireland.
