Notebooks and loose typescript worksheets containing drafts of the memoirs of Kathleen Clarke (née Daly), in which she records her recollections of her early life in a republican family in Limerick, her marriage to the Fenian Tom Clarke, his participation in the Easter Rising and subsequent execution, her imprisonment in Holloway Jail and her career as a Sinn Féin and later Fianna Fáil TD and Senator. Most drafts are undated, however her notebooks do refer to the contents being typed out in June 1946.
