Letter from Éamonn Duggan to his fiancée May Kavanagh, written from Brackanraney, Co. Meath,

[n.d.]

Duggan's letter may have been written in the immediate aftermath of his release from prison, when he holidayed in Co. Meath. He writes of how he spends his time ('in the fields' and 'visiting in the evening') and his views of the lack of any political awareness of the local people - 'They are making so much money out of cattle they dont [sic] worry about patriotism'.
