Title on note attached to verso continues "Mrs. Muriel MacSwiney; widow of the Lord Mayor of Cork, and Nora Mary Toomey, (left) and Violet Cecilia Toomey, of No.65 St. Germain Street, Boston; photographed together shortly after Mrs. MacSwiney's arrival in Boston. The Children presented the widow of the Lord Mayor with a purse of gold that will go to relieve the distress of Ireland's children". Note includes "Watch Your Credit / 129752-International".

One copy includes date "Dec., 1920" and stamp "National Library of Ireland / Joly Collection" on verso. Other copy includes annotation in pencil "Box VI".
