Contains a report from the Council's Survey Sub-Committee, concerning the findings of surveyed craftworkers, with particular reference to education and training in handicrafts and and their recommendations for the industry. The report is compiled by Paul Hogan and dated 6 March 1972. Also included is a photocopy of a letter from a staff member in the Department of Finance to the Council chairman James Warwick, concerning suggestions to extend the survey to all counties in Ireland (20 Oct. 1972).
