Papers of the Irish Homespun Society compiled by one it's founding members Muriel Gahan. Included are Gahan's notes regarding the events that led to its formation, the Society's account and minute books, notices and circulars regarding I.H.S. exhibitions, sales and demonstrations, documentation and correspondence relating to their collaborations with the Royal Dublin Society and John Conor Magee Trust and memoranda and reports compiled by the I.H.S. for various state bodies regarding the need for training in handicrafts and for standards within the homespun industry in Ireland.
