Helena Molony was arrested for throwing a stone at portraits of King George V in July 1911and was jailed after she refused to pay the fine. McCartan mentions that Countess Constance Markievicz gave him "some amusing accounts of incidents that took place during the fight", Joseph Roulston and Anne Grogan in relation to the sale of land in Co. Tyrone, and others.
