Letter from William Armitage of Australia to [a member of the Irish Socialist Republican Party] regarding a delivery of 'The Workers' Republic' which has been misplaced in transit,

1902 April 5.

Armitage writes of 'The Workers' Republic' shipment "Martial law has not yet been proclaimed in this mudheap but I have no doubt the authorities have nabbed the lot in the public interest. Why don't you rechristen the paper and call it the "Journal of Jesus", "Sunday Sentiment" or something nice and then perhaps you would get it delivered".
