Letter from Alice Cussen, 358 Frederick St, San Francisco, to Margaret Pearse, regarding publicity and fundraising in America for a scholarship for St. Enda's School,
1927 July 10.
Cussen encourages Margaret Pearse to "pick a deserving boy - if possible one whose father was a good Republican Army man, if possible send us his name and tell us a little about him. As the public are always anxious to know what has been done with their money, we will publish it in the 'Leader'". Cussen also suggest the Pierce [Pearse]-Connolly Club might give another scholarship.
