Letter from L.P. Byrne [Andrew E. Malone] to William O'Brien querying his decision to resign from the Irish Agricultural Wholesale Society and discouraging him from doing so,
1921 November 3.
Byrne concurs with O'Brien's statement that the Society needs to change but says "I do not think it hopeless to effect an improvement". He also writes that Mr. O'Brien Hishon's report will assist them in making the necessary changes and asks him to reconsider his resignation, given that his membership and advice "has been of very great assistance" to the Society.
