John Devoy states the difficulties associated with organising a meeting. "Dick" and "Hugh" want to have it the following Saturday (in New York?), which does not suit Devoy, and he hopes that McGarrity and "Lake" can make it. He also mentions that he given "no notice" of another meeting held the previous Wednesday.
