Joseph McGarrity is collecting funds. Also mentions "J. D." [John Devoy], "D. C.", "Adler" [Christensen] in Copenhagen, "Goffrey" in New York, his wife [Katheryn] in hospital, "Ja Ja" [his daughter Maeve] and "Mary Joseph", and a booklet entitled 'The Faith of an Irishman'.
