Typescript letter, signed, from Sean O'Casey to Mai McCarthy,

1957 March 21.

O'Casey speaks of his, and his wife's, sadness at the death of their son, but he adds 'we owe a debt to life still while we're here'. He explains why he has refused to give taped interviews, and also discusses the possibility of meeting with a person called Judy, who is a friend or aquaintance of McCarthy's. He makes a brief mention of the second Arab-Israeli War/Suez Crisis, and says his sympathies lie with Israel.
