Also included are biographical notes, compiled by members of his family, and some papers of his sister Mary MacDonagh (Sr. Francesca), his brother John MacDonagh and father Joseph MacDonagh.

Description:Letter from J. Griffith, a work associate of Joseph MacDonagh, to Mary MacDonagh, Sister Francesca. The letter informs Mary that Joseph had been arrested and taken to Mountjoy prison and that only his solicitor was able to see him. Griffith assures Mary that the business will run as usual at 58 Dame Street.
