Copy of a letter from Joseph McGarrity to John Devoy regarding his belief that there should be a face to face meeting of the D. A's. and the D. O's. [Clan-na-Gael], that the introduction of the religious question to the Irish Volunteers would be the worst thing that could happen, that efforts will be wasted if only one or two sections of the country start the movement for funds for arms, and informing Devoy that he [McGarrity] wrote the forgery yesterday and not to worry about military preparations in Dublin,
1914 April 30.
