Description:The back of the letter contains a note addresed to Rev. Harvey enclosing a $5 postal order for a five week subscription auxilliary fund for the 'Irish Press'. The letter to McCartan asks for this note to be forwarded to Harvey. This subscription is made following an appeal from Joseph McGarrity to the Joseph Plunkett branch of Friends of Irish Freedom to keep the 'Irish Press' in circulation.
